Australian Coastal Shipping Pty. Ltd. is a wholly independent company whose prime objective is to service the needs of those companies and individuals that have a requirement to transport cargo in the most economic fashion both within Australia and externally. 

These requirements are generally satisfied by using scheduled shipping services, in the main between East Coast ports and Fremantle, but also to and from, Tasmania.

Australian Coastal Shipping also has the ability to provide rail and road transport services where the needs of the client are best served by these transport modes.

OUR PEOPLE

David James and Tom Pinder are the principals of Australian Coastal Shipping Pty. Ltd.

David James has direct experience in all transport modes, and in 'general and express freight', having held positions with several of Australia’s major transport companies. In recent years he has specialised in coastal shipping between the East and West coasts as well as between long haul ports along the Eastern seaboard.

Tom Pinder has many years experience in shipping and consulting in the maritime industry with particular emphasis on shipping and transport in the North of Australia and in links with South East Asia and the rest of the world.
